Noun Genders – Singular & Plural
Learning 3 genders in Croatian and Serbian is a good start.
You can learn how to know which noun belongs to which gender – masculine, feminine, or plural. There are also the common exceptions mentioned.
Moreover, learn how to modify the adjectives and possessive pronouns according to the noun gender.

Akuzativ
After nominativ (basic form), akuzativ is the case that is used the most commonly.
In the video lesson, you can learn:
- (2:10 – 6:26) Suffixes that nouns of all 3 genders get in AKUZATIV
- (6:26 – 25:58) First AKUZATIV function – direct object in the sentence – many examples of the nouns of all the genders
- (25:58 – 28:42) The second function explained and examples

- (31:31 – 34:11) Three common verbs that come with AKUZATIV
- FOR INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED – Akuzativ of possessive pronouns (my, your…) and adjectives (big, small,…) (34:11 – 37:36)

PLEASE NOTE that the lesson includes the examples with the Croatian version, meaning the words are shown in “jekavica”. I didn’t insert Serbian “ekavica” version because you can figure out easily where you need to change ije/je with e to make a word Serbian. In all the cases the words are different, I put Serbian synonym, too.
